The City of Chicago Pipe Band will be hosting a concert,
Esprit de Corps, Live in Oak Park, IL on
April 5th, 2008 at
Grace Episcopal Church. The concert begins
at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are available for $10 from

The piping instructors in the COCPB are pleased to offer free piping consultations to any interested pipe
band in the Chicago area.

September 23rd:
The COCPB welcomes new lead drummer!
Marty Boyle, former lead drummer of the Midlothian Scottish Pipe Band and the Chicago
Metropolitan Pipe Band, has joined the ranks of the City of Chicago Pipe Band. Marty
brings a level of success that is unmatched in the Midwest, having lead a band to a
second place finish at the worlds. We are lucky to have Marty and we are very excited
for the upcomming 2007 season!

Band Championships in Alma!

We took the pipes and drums to the 85th anniversary celebration
of the Chicago Stockyard Kilty Band after winning Grade III mini-bands for the 2nd year in a row.
